The POLITICS project is meant to be used in schools and VET institutions as part of the normal study process. Not less then 4000 learners are involved either directly (members of the writing teams) or indirectly (commenting different new eBooks created by teams, participating in online collaborative learning events and contests and quizzes).

Not less then 10 contests and online collaborational events are organized Contests are based on series of quizzes or they are actions to collect new digital materials. One contest is a set of activities and lasts 2 weeks - 1 month normally.

POLITICS speaks about learners taking active roles and therefore also learners are connected directly. POLITICS target groups are:

  1. School pupils Pupils of different ages will benefit from the POLITICS project. Firstly on Grade/Form 4-6 level where “citizenship studies” and secondly at high school/gymnasium level. Older pupils just go through the process at a more difficult level. And at the same time cooperation between primary and high school learners is also encouraged. In that way older pupils help younger.
  2. VET trainees VET institutions go through “citizenship studies” too. VET school also gives secondary education at a general level.
  3. Adult learners, especially immigrants undertaking 'citizenship' programmes and also parents of schoolchildren are targeted.

There is also a clear interest from politicians and government members to participate in the POLITICS project as guests and presenters.

Target groups are reached through POLITICS consortium partners networks. EE, SI have access to schools, IT, UK partners to VET institutions and DE, GR partners to adult learners networks all over Europe.
