Vincentas Lamanauskas is the professor of Education at the University of Šiauliai, a doctor of social sciences, the chairman of a scientific methodic centre ”Scientia Educologica” and the editor-in-chief of an international scientific periodical "Journal of Baltic Science Education" , editor-in-chief of an international scientific methodical journal "Gamtamokslinis ugdymas", editor-in-chief of an international, non-periodical scientific collection "Problems of Education in the 21st Century", and editor-in-chief of regional scientific methodical journal "Education Policy, Management and Quality". Also he is a member of IOSTE (International Organization for Science and Technology Education), and Honor Member of Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy (latv. Goda Biedrs)/Latvia/, member of Editorial Board of international academic journal “Eurasia Journal of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (EJMSTE)”, member of the International History & Philosophy of Science Teaching Group, etc.
