Long-distance Training in the Treatment of Sexual and Physical Abuse

This is a dissemination project based on a continuous training product called JOCONDA which was developed during the first phase of the Leonardo da Vinci programme.

The project is intended for teachers, educators, social workers, psychologists, therapists and youth group leaders working for any organisation.

The project centres on social development, taking a multidisciplinary approach to this issue. The partnership proposes:

1. to translate and adapt the JOCONDA method to the different cultures of the partner countries: Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands;

2. to produce a CD-ROM of the training;

3. to create an international network of teacher trainers;

4. to produce modules of training in the use of the method and to set up a website.
