I'm an e-learning consultant and researcher focused on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) and the study of the time factor in self and co-regulated learning contexts.
I'm a researcher focused on the study of the time factor in self and co-regulated learning contexts. My work aims to advance two main lines (1) the understanding of the time factor in CSCL in the contexts of online learning and Game Based Learning and (2) the characterization of the learners' time use and regulation.
As a consultant, I worked during the last 11 years counseling international academic and professional organizations in educational projects (ITIN University in Paris, IUFM French Guyana, Educational Ministry of Algeria, IQPC Brazil…). During this period, I developed my passion for teaching during my experience as lecturer at Universitat Ramon Llull (Blanquerna), Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Université de Limoges, Institut Universitaire Professionnalisé de Nîmes and Centre National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM).
I'm also leading the Euro-CAT-CSCL research project within the FP7 Marie Curie IAPP actions. In 2007, I won the 3rd price on Technology Transfer from the EU Network of Excellence Kaleidoscope. In 2006, I won ex-aequo the Artificial Intelligence French Association Award (Prix de l’Association Française d’Intelligence Artificielle) for a communication claiming the need to introduce a metacognitive support into elearning systems.
