Ir. Angelique Lansu (1963) is coordinator e-learning environment, assistant professor Earth Sciences and co-examiner of the BSc theses Environmental Sciences at the School of Science of the Open Universiteit, the Netherlands. Lansu has years of expertise and experience in design, development and management of funded projects, resulting in innovative ICT-mediated learning environments in the environmental sciences.
Examples are multimedia serious games on soil & water management, didactic models for international collaboration like remote research internships, virtual environmental consultancy and online seminars on sustainabilityResearch interest is on how learners could become competent for sustainable development, with emphasis on networked learning and on internationalisation in e-learning curricula.
Angelique Lansu was trained as a tropical soil scientist / geomorphologist at Wageningen University, NL (MSc, 1988) and worked in research projects on sustainable land use in South-America (Colombia, Costa Rica). After graduation, she has worked as a lecturer in soil & environmental bachelor studies (van Hall Institute, Leeuwarden, NL) till she joint the Open University in 1990.
