An agenda for change in Education and Lifelong learning beyond 2010 proposed by the Learnovation project

Following two years of intense work fostering and raising awareness on innovation and ICT in European Lifelong Learning, the Learnovation project has come to an end in December 2009. The legacy of the project, in addition to its contribution to better understanding the level of innovation existing in the different identified “eLearning territories” though its research and observation activities, stands in the consultation that Learnovation has run with the participation of the main European networks and stakeholders in the field of innovation and ICT for Education and Training. Learnovation Foresight Report published

The foresight activity of Learnovation is framed within its goal of building a new vision of technology enhanced learning in Europe, by means of a consensus process which overcomes traditional borders of education and training and addresses learning in a much broader perspective, centred on its role in innovation and lifelong learning implementation, and in light of a policy advising perspective. Download the Foresight Report here

Learnovation Vision Papers published

The results of the Learnovation activities have been transformed into a set of practical recommendations that can contribute to shaping future learning and learning-related policies at the EU and at national level, by instilling the required level of innovation and creativity, discretely but substantially supported by ICT, in E&T settings. These recommendations are presented through four Learnovation Vision Papers. Download the Vision Papers here

Learnovation Policy Support Tool published

Learnovation has been working to link “practices of innovation” to policy priorities. One part of this work has resulted in to produce a “Policy Support tool”, a web-based analysis tool that allows users to analyse LLL policies with respect to their impact on innovation objectives. This easily accessible platform based on open source technology provides decision-makers, researchers, private stakeholders, public stakeholders and the general public with a collaboration tool focused on policymaking.
