Profil public Charles Max

Charles MAX holds a professor position at the University of Luxembourg. He is conducting socio-cultural and activity-theoretical research on learning and development in socio-digital systems such as school, work, daily life or community contexts. Core topics of his work are interactions through digital media and smart technologies, building of learning networks and the development of expertise and competence in a broad sense. He has set up three essential corpora in the area of multilingual language use (PluChiLu), in tutor-tutee talks in initial teacher education (MITE) and about discourse-in-interaction within elementary science learning (Codi-scile-a). Charles Max is the scientific head of DICA-lab conducting research on development, interaction, cognition and activity (www.dica-lab.org)
