Prof. Alfonso Herrero de Egaña y Espinosa de los Monteros holds the position at UNED of Profesor Colaborador Doctor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration UNED (from 2004). Herrero is Academic Director of three higher education courses at UNED (2007-2010), he teaches Business Mathematics in the degree of Business Administration and manages a team at UNED, dedicated to lifelong, open and distance teaching subjects. Herrero has participated in several European and national projects (e.g. CBVE 2008-2010, CSVM. Leonardo Project. 2006-2008, International Comparative Studies and Course Development on SME-s. Leonardo Project. 2003-2006). He was Secretary of the Investigation Commission at the Department of Applied Economy and Statistics and Coordinator of the Doctoral Program at the Department of Applied Economy and Statistics from 2001-2006. He has written books on business mathematics and stock markets.
