14 août 2012 The Future of Education: EPIC 2020 What is EPIC 2012? What advantages does it offer to the future educator? Degrees will be replaced by credentials and badges, according to “EPIC 2020,” following the model adopted by the Mozilla Open Badges program, the Khan Academy, and Udacity a site started by a Stanford professor who taught a free, open online course in 2011 that drew more than 160,000 registrations worldwide. To the usual advantages of a MOOC, add free content, payment only for assessment and transferable credits based on ability. That is EPIC 2020. Whilst most colleges stay tied to the formal education model, Google unleashes EPIC the all-knowing learning system 2020. Watch this video for more! |
