Improve Your Web Strategies and Maximise Your Social Media Presence

13 September 2012

Are you an LLP project manager? Or are you thinking of becoming one? Receive hands-on training on the use of social media as part of an effective web strategy for dissemination activities. The Web2LLP Consortium is currently looking for the real needs and opinion of project coordinators and partners regarding the use of social media. Based on this short questionnaire  and according to the results, a 5-day face-to-face training course and a 10 hour online training module will be organised.

What kind of training do LLP project managers need? What are the most important and relevant resources around? This short five minutes questionnaire will help the Web2LLP Consortium to ensure that the resources and training we provide is appropriate, relevant and fit-for-purpose. The results will be published on the Web2LLP website.

The 5-day face-to-face training for both existing as well as potential European project managers will be held via the Grundtvig database in Leuven, Belgium from 18th to 23rd February 2013. During this 5-day residential training, attendees will learn more about the most popular and useful social media channels and managing tools available for LLP projects; creating and adapting a web strategy according to your project needs; and they will participate in a guided visit to an institution that is successfully using social media.  Find out more about this course and how to apply for funding here.

The 10-hour online training module (between March-July 2013) will be delivered via videoconference over 5 sessions of 2 hours each to groups of participants (between 15 and 20 per course) located in different countries. Sub-groups will be set up based on language (English, French and Italian). Elluminate will serve as the video conference training platform: it is one of the most robust videoconferencing systems and it allows multiple users to connect in real time with audio, video, text, and tools such as a shared whiteboard. Let us know if you would like to stay informed about the online training sessions.
