Biography
Educated at Ben-Gurion University, Amir Winer has an interdisciplinary background: Cognitive Science - Compututational Linguistics (BA) and organizational psychology (MA, Cum Laude). Amir served as VP of Research at E-Base, a KM software company, and as a senior organizational design consultant for Bank Leumi's IT department, where he led numerous organizational design and change processes. Amir Winer is currently Head of R&D at the Centre for Futurism in Education at Ben Gurion University and a PhD candidate at the department of Education. Amir's fields of interest include: Visual representation of knowledge and communication, Semantic Analysis (automated classification and design of large scale taxonomies), Social Semiotics and Human Development.
