Ana Margarida Almeida holds a PhD in Sciences and Technologies of Communication and is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication and Arts, University of Aveiro, Portugal. She is also the first cycle degree vice-director (New Communication Technologies Degree) and member of the Cetac.media research unit direction board. Her present research interests are related to digital inclusion, media for all and communication technologies to support citizens with special needs.
