Palabea
I would like to draw your attention to the online platform Palabea. The international community states as its aim to connect "people around the world who share the same interest in learning languages and discovering different cultures". Everyone can sign up for free, create his own profile and communicate with others in the language he wishes.
I do not only think that this community is an ideal way to practice a language while simultaneously getting to know other people and cultures, but I also believe that Palabea is a prime example of how multilingualism can make social media real.
